This batch of swatches features the Multicolor 001 version of Make It Tweed yarn, and we love the variety of finished fabrics! The effects of Make It Tweed vary depending on what yarn you strand it with, so we encourage you to try knitting it paired with different fibers.

We consulted the oracle (aka Ravelry) and found some fun accessories to help get you inspired! First up we have Turnt by Laura Nelkin. The Turnt cowl transforms from a Mobius twisted delight into a classic cowl construction. For those who need a quick definition, a Mobius band is a circle with a twist that creates a continuous loop with only one surface and one edge – a twisty wonder! Drape Turnt long around your neck, double it up for extra warmth or elegantly wear it around your shoulders as a shrug (shown below).

Turnt Cowl is designed with simplicity in mind. Its stitches are easy to master, allowing you to create a fabric that will become an instant favorite. This cowl is knit holding Make It Tweed with a silk mohair, creating a lightweight, ethereal fabric with a lovely halo. We recommend using Isager Silk Mohair Yarn for this project - it's scrumptiously soft, and we currently have over 30 colors to choose from. The best thing about Turnt? You only need one ball each of Make It Tweed and Isager Silk Mohair to complete the project. 

Another cute accessory to add Make It Tweed to is the iconic Sophie Scarf by PetiteKnit. This simple yet chic little scarf has over 30,000 projects on Ravelry, and if you have yet to knit one we highly recommend it! The Sophie Scarf calls for a DK weight yarn, and we've really been enjoying making them with Make It Tweed held double with Manos del Uruguay Sami yarn. Sami is a DK weight, 100% superwash Merino wool that is buttery soft and perfect for next to skin wear.
